The group company actively implemented the requirements of the Changzhou Housing and Urban Rural Development Bureau's "Notice on Doing a Good Job in Safety Production of Construction Projects Resuming Work after the 2023 Spring Festival in Our City" (Changshujian [2023] No. 14), and promptly conveyed the spirit of the document to the project departments of each branch company. The company leaders require management personnel at all levels to adhere to the safety policy of "safety first, prevention first, and comprehensive management", strengthen the ideological and behavioral awareness of preventing major safety risks in the construction field, always maintain a clear mind, overcome careless thinking, and prioritize post holiday resumption management and safety production work.
From February 14th to 15th, led by Li Zhongjun, Deputy General Manager of the Group, the Engineering Management Center conducted resumption inspections on the company's Hubin Water Plant project, Zou District Sewage Treatment Plant Expansion Phase III project, Xinchang Road Sewage Treatment Project, Yishan Road, Jiangnan Road (Henglin Section) railway related project in Henglin Town, urban living room construction project, and Zhenglu Town 2022 Village Domestic Sewage Treatment Project.
Returning to work after holidays, managers and workers have a psychological holiday effect, making it difficult to enter the working state well; If construction machinery and facilities are left unused for a long time, the working conditions may change; Workers are gradually entering the site, which may lead to inadequate safety education and training for workers returning to work; Failure to meet safety production conditions and unauthorized resumption of work at the construction site can easily lead to production safety accidents. To ensure safe production, each project department conducts a self inspection of the resumption of work before resuming work on the construction site. After passing the self inspection, a resumption of work application is submitted to the supervisor. After passing the resumption inspection by the chief supervising engineer, the construction unit, project leader, and relevant personnel, the supervising engineer issues a resumption of work notice, and the project department officially resumes work.
The Engineering Management Center will inspect the preparation status of the resumption project in the following aspects: requiring all safety management personnel to perform their duties on duty; All workers entering the site shall complete safety education and training; Temporary electrical protection facilities such as safety protection at the construction site, edge hole protection, distribution boxes, and leakage protectors are in place; Manage the safety of high-risk sub projects, maintenance and repair of lifting machinery and equipment, scaffolding, fire safety management at construction sites, surrounding environmental protection work, compliance with safety production conditions for high-altitude operations, certification of special operation personnel, and dust control. Require timely rectification and record keeping of safety hazards discovered through investigation.
On the morning of March 7th, the company held a safety education training for frontline production personnel in the conference room on the 4th floor of Building 3. The training was organized and implemented by the Engineering Management Center. A total of 115 frontline production personnel from each subsidiary participated in this safety education and training. At the meeting, Vice General Manager Li Zhongjun mobilized for safety education and training, while Deputy Safety Supervisor Ding Zhifeng gave a safety training lecture. Finally, Chairman Ai Weiwei shared his understanding of safety production management work and put forward requirements for frontline management personnel to do a good job in safety work.
Doing a good job in site safety resumption inspection is an important measure to supervise the project department to do a good job in annual safety production.
