Since July, our city has entered the hot summer season, with temperatures steadily rising and the weather becoming increasingly hot. During this period, the Tangjiaqiao regulation and storage project is undergoing construction such as steel reinforcement binding and concrete pouring for the pump room bottom plate. Preventing personnel from heatstroke and other accidents caused by high temperatures is an important part of the project department's summer safety work. To ensure the smooth progress of summer construction, the project department has taken various measures, focusing on safety production and heatstroke prevention and cooling work.
The project department fully understands the importance of safety production work during the high temperature season from an ideological perspective, effectively completes heatstroke prevention and cooling work, always adheres to the principle of "safety first, prevention first, and comprehensive management", further enhances responsibility awareness, strengthens construction safety production supervision and inspection, and prevents workers from heatstroke or other types of safety production accidents caused by high temperature weather. The project department shall properly formulate construction plans, scientifically and reasonably arrange work hours, adjust personnel schedules, and prohibit outdoor construction during high temperatures in the afternoon. Measures shall be taken for staggered operations to avoid high-temperature exposure to sunlight, fatigue, etc. through reasonable adjustment of work hours.
The project department has formulated and improved various heatstroke prevention and cooling measures, carried out heatstroke prevention and cooling work for construction site workers, and continuously improved the working and living environment of construction workers. We have equipped heatstroke prevention facilities and medicines at the construction site, set up sunshades and cooling sheds for the workers, and provide them with cool drinks such as herbal tea, in order to provide logistical support for safe construction in summer.
Summer high temperatures are highly prone to fires. The project department strengthens the management of flammable and explosive materials on the construction site, strictly implements fire safety regulations, strictly prohibits smoking in the construction area, and strengthens personnel safety production education and training to further improve everyone's safety awareness and technical level, and to prevent the occurrence of illegal commands, operations, and labor discipline violations.
Construction during the high temperature season has its unique characteristics and higher requirements for project construction management. Faced with the test, all members of the Tangjiaqiao Reservoir Project Department are ready and fully prepared, strictly implementing various heatstroke prevention and cooling measures, ensuring efficient and safe construction, and striving to create high-quality projects. |
