Under the scorching sun, the scorching heat is unbearable! This year, Jiangsu has entered the rainy season earlier than usual, with a large amount of rainfall. The humid and hot working environment has brought many challenges to the municipal staff of the Yanghu Ecological Water Treatment Plant project department.
At the construction site of Yanghu Ecological Water Treatment Plant, workers are sweating in the scorching heat, their dark skin shining brightly, but they cannot conceal the resolute gaze in their eyes. They are the hope of the family, the support of the children, and the cornerstone of the production enterprise. Faced with the continuous high temperature weather, the Yanghu Ecological Water Purification Plant Project Department has effectively carried out summer construction site heatstroke prevention and cooling work to ensure the physical health of construction personnel.
June, when temperatures rise, is the 23rd Safety Production Month in China. The group company held a safety production month launch ceremony at the Yanghu Ecological Water Treatment Plant project site, where everyone took the oath and signed the safety production declaration. Subsequently, the project department organized labor personnel to conduct safety production education, watch safety production warning films and other activities. At present, safety production during high-temperature construction cannot be ignored.
With a highly responsible attitude towards the health and life of frontline construction workers, we strengthen the organization and management of construction during high temperature seasons, further improve the safety production responsibility system, develop emergency plans, take preventive measures, and conscientiously carry out heatstroke prevention and cooling work. The project department adopts scientific management, closely monitors the forecast of high temperature weather, adjusts the summer high temperature schedule reasonably, reduces labor intensity, and ensures the physical and mental health of laborers.
The project department has set up a tea and water pavilion (as shown in the picture) to ensure sufficient drinking water supply at the construction site, and air conditioning is installed in the safety reflection room for workers to rest. Adequate drinking tea, mung bean soup, etc. that meet hygiene requirements are provided to effectively prevent heatstroke and avoid heatstroke. We actively equip a series of heatstroke prevention and cooling products such as Huoxiang Zhengqi Water, Ten Drops of Water, Wind Oil Essence, etc. to ensure safe production.
The project department actively carries out summer fire prevention work. The summer weather is hot and dry, and electricity management in the office and construction areas is crucial. We have strengthened routine inspections of electricity usage in the accommodation, office, and construction areas, as well as checked the completeness of firefighting equipment to be prepared for any unforeseen circumstances.
There are millions of roads, safety comes first. All staff members of the Yanghu Ecological Water Treatment Plant project department will continue to face the challenges of construction during the high temperature season, actively carry out heatstroke prevention and cooling work, and safely and healthily pass the summer construction of this year.
